The Ol’ Days – 1979 – Debut Album Stream

Chicago duo The Ol’ Days is made up of duo Ki ‘of NC and rapper/film maker Rookie Chi. Production duties on this debut effort is handled by Dibia$e, Rashid Hadee, Lakim, Kenny Keys, J Slikk and Ki of NC himself.

With clear influence from collectives such as De La, Slum Village and Pharcyde, this album does a good job of providing a little nostalgia for those who appreciate hip-hop’s golden age, without dwelling on it too much.

This track comes from a new artist out of Philly by the name of Adam Lee.

The motivation behind this track is to talk about the journey of young men who struggle to impress their loved ones. Well sir, you’ve made your mama proud with this one.

Look out for his EP Til The Curtains Gone, set for a May release.

LUVNY is a collective which includes producer Ray West and emcees AG (of DITC), Kurious, Dave Dar and Kool Keith. Snake Charmer is the first video from their forthcoming ‘The Snake Tape‘ project, set for release on 15th April 2014.
